Answers
1. The software is a program that tracks events (such as training conferences). It allows you to manage participants, presenters (trainers), faculty, staff, CLE and many other aspects of events. You can keep track of classes and CLE for each event and for each participant as well. You can also use it to manage mailing lists. CLE credits for an event can be processed automatically. You can use an autoscan form (like in tests), but the output from the scanner would need to be in a specified format (available upon request). It includes reports on CLE, evaluations, registration lists, and others.
2. The software (as is) is provided for no cost to government agencies. If you are not a government agency and would still like to try it out, please fill out a feedback form with your contact information and we'll get back to you.
3. Support for installation is provided for no cost (please contact UPC). Any additional support needed is provided by email at no cost or by contract for additional needs that can't be resolved via email.
4. The software can be customized for your office. It can be modified slightly to accomodate your business practices, or it can be changed significantly, or even done over with your specifications. For a quote to do this, please fill out a quote form (select Custom Project on the drop down list and then put Customize Event Manager in the details box) and we'll get back to you to go over the details. One of the common customizations that may be desired is how the system scans and processes CLE credits for and event.
5. The program will work with an Access database or SQL server (SQL 7, 2000, 2005 and SQL Express). It can be modified to work with MySQL or Oracle as a customization project.
